Silver Star of the Day

Silver stars are awarded daily in class. They are for children that have impressed their teachers and perhaps made a small change. Children who are selected to be the silver star wear a special lanyard and sit on special chairs in the classroom. 

Gold Star of the Week

Each week we pick two children that have impressed us the most. At Streethay we have a growth mindset, so we reward the process as well as the outcome. We usually celebrate our Gold Stars in assembly on a Friday. They receive a certificate, a prize and enjoy lunch on our top table with Mr Taylor. 
Superstar Award of the Half Term Every half term we choose two children from each class who have consistently lived by our values and we make sure they have a really special day. Chosen children receive an extra special prize and their name and superstar statement is displayed in our entrance. We want everyone who visits Streethay to know how proud we are of our Superstars! 
Headteacher Award This is an award for those children who always work hard but are sometimes in the background. It is special award for those children that are quietly consistent and always making really great choices. They receive a certificate and get to spend sometime with Mr Taylor. 
Exceptional Work We are all capable of exceptional work! We like to celebrate work that demonstrates craftsmanship, perseverance or passion. Exceptional work is displayed on various boards around school, it can also be found on our social media platform and around our website. We even celebrate exceptional work completed by our staff!
Achievements at Home  We know we are lucky to have such proactive and engaged parents. We are really keen to celebrate achievements made at home. In the younger year groups of our school parents are encouraged to share wow moments and experiences via our learning journey app - Tapestry. Achievements that are particularly noteworthy can be shared with their class during show and tell sessions. If your child is in KS1 we will happily announce their brilliant achievement in Reward Assembly. Just let the class teacher know about the achievement and we will make sure your child is celebrated. We are happy to announce all kinds of achievements from swimming 25metres, dance awards to acts of extraordinary kindness etc, just get in touch with the school office or your child's class teacher with the details.
