In PE we have been practicing our gross motor skills. We have been pretending to be lots of different sea animals. The children were slow animals and fast animals. A slow animal was a turtle where they practised tip-toeing slowly and a fast animal was a shark where they got to run. When being sharks the children also used their hands to make themselves look like a shark which they had to co-ordinate/control when running around in the 'sea'. The children then had to practiced balancing skills when moving across the hall to collect treasure.
