We have been looking at length in Maths this term, using both centimetres and metres as our unit of measurement. 

In RE we have been learning about the 99 names of Allah and the meaning behind some of these. Children were coming up with their own names that they believe represent how powerful Allah is to Muslims. 

In Geography this term we have created a travel brochure on 'Visiting New Places'. We looked at how we can travel to these places, how we can travel around these places and the exciting attractions you can visit in these countries! 

We had so much fun creating our felt in Art this term.

Team Meadow loved going on a minibeast hunt to see which minibeasts live on our school grounds!

This week in English we have been writing diary entries about our school day at Streethay. The children tried really hard to include adverbs and commas for a list in their writing. We are really impressed with their finished entries. 

In Team Meadow we are amazing at using the concrete resources to support our maths learning. We found the dienes really helpful when learning column addition. 

In PE this week children have been investigating movement, altitude and increasing the speed to create a 'rocket' dance routine. We used our bodies to create a variety of different movements, thinking about how we can create shapes with our body. Well done Team Meadow, you are all becoming super…
