This week in maths, we have been looking at place value of 4-digit numbers. Today, we were comparing 3-digit numbers. We talked about ways to identify the smallest and greatest number, as well as ways to remember the symbols < and >. 

This week in Orchard the children completed their first French lesson where they began to learn the vocabulary for different sports and the Olympics. They also began the exciting and immersive topic of Earthquakes in Geography. 

This week, during maths, we have been comparing 6 digit numbers. We have also worked hard on our presentation in our books.
