In computing this week, we have been using our amazing coding skills to create some incredible maze games! Team Starlings have worked hard to use boolean variables, 'if-then' statements and loops to successfully create some excellent maze games. 

In computing, Team Meadow have been learning about algorithms. The children created instructions on how to make a cheese sandwich, thinking about how these instructions would need to be written for a 'computer'. 

This term, our unit in computing is iProgram using Scratch. For lesson 1- iMove, children have begun to understand the concept of instruction by explored the Scratch program, selecting a sprite character and using coding instruction to move the sprite across the screen.

The children have been thinking deeply in computing about staying safe online and cyberbullying. This week they have considered different online cyberbullying scenarios and have thought about how they might help a target, both publicly and privately, in a safe way.

During our computing lesson we explored the concept of personal safety in real life and 'online life'.
