LO: to combine objects for stacking to build models.
The Daisies have had a great time utilising their fine motor skills to stack number blocks on top of each other. During this activity, they employed their counting skills to arrange the blocks in the correct order. They used their counting fingers to represent each number on the blocks and even counted different groups of animals to ensure they selected the right block. While creating their rainbow stack, they incorporated mathematical language such as 'smaller' and 'bigger'.
