In French this week, Team Starlings started their unit about Monster Pets. We worked on deciphering a French article about komodo dragons. At the start of the lesson, the text looked so unfamiliar and complex that we weren't sure we'd be able to understand what it was about. However, we highlighted some familiar words (cognates) to work out some of the meaning of the text.
