We have enjoyed our topic this term, all about The Round City: Baghdad. We have learnt about al-Mansur and the story of how he decided on the shape and location of his city. We learnt about how he encouraged people to come and help build it. In the later lessons, we learnt about how it became a city of learning, with a library called the House of Wisdom.
