PSHE-Celebrating similarties and differences
In PSHE we have been discussing the meaning of similar and the same. We now know that because something or someone looks similar they are not always the same. We also talked about the differences within our class, for example some of us are 5 but others are 6.
Amazing Artists in Team Rabbits
In Art we have been learning about mark making. We have moved on from abstract art to observational drawing.
Subtraction Stories in Team Rabbits
We have been learning all about subtraction. We recently came up with our own subtraction stories. We had to draw a picture and make up a story to go with our subtraction calculation. We did an amazing job!
Phonics workshop in Team Rabbits
We really enjoyed our phonics workshop with our grown-ups! We played phonics bingo, tricky word bingo and phonics snakes and ladders.
Material Detectives
In Science we are learning about materials. We have been 'material detectives' and we went on a material hunt. We found an object and then wrote what it is made out of for example- Bench-Wood. We had so much fun!

Excellent English in Team Meadow
This week in English we have been writing diary entries about our school day at Streethay. The children tried really hard to include adverbs and commas for a list in their writing. We are really impressed with their finished entries.

Ribbon Dancing in Daisies
Daisies have enjoyed participating in ribbon dancing. This helps the children to develop their fine motor skills and gross motor skills, with their arm movements.
